Bak Kut Teh

Bak Kut Teh is a Chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia. When we talk about Bak Kut Teh sure will relate it to Klang. This is because Klang is widely believed to be the birthplace of Bak Kut Teh and there is lots of famous Bak Kut Teh stalls found in Klang.

Frequently asked questions when implementing GST in Dynamics AX

Before going to implement GST in Dynamics AX, we have to make clear of the GST procedures and the process behind them. Here are my findings on the procedures of implementing GST in Dynamics AX, this is a helpful guideline for those new to GST.

Procedures of GST
1. Submission
a. Usually most businesses will submit the form F5 either every month or quarterly. Dynamics AX provides a comprehensive sales tax report F5 to automatic calculate the tax to be paid to IRAS or refunds claimed.
The formula as below:
Total Input Taxes – Total Output Taxes

b. At this point, you may run sales tax payment periodic job to let system calculate the tax payable and transfer to vendor account.

2. Refunds Claimed
a. If Total Input Taxes > Total Output Taxes, it mean GST we paid exceeds GST collected. The differences can be claimed from IRAS as a GST refund.

3. Payment
a. If Total Input Taxes <> Journals > Payments > Payment journal. Choose the IRAS and credit to
business’s cash or bank account.
ii. If not, then you should go to GL > Journals > General journal to post the double
entries, debit to Account Payable, credit to cash or bank.

4. Interest Charges – 5%
a. Using GL > Journals > General journal to debit GST interest, credit Accrual Account

5. Late Payment
a. Using AP > Journals > Payments > Payment journal to post the following entries:
i. Debit GST Accrual Account
ii. Debit GST (Account Payable) or Vendor account
iii. Credit Bank/Cash

我怀念的~~童年

一瞬眼，大家已长大了。从天真无邪的小孩转变成成年人，眼看身边的朋友结婚生子；不感慨时间的变质都不行啊！迄今仍勾起了童年串串的回忆，换出真挚的感情，脑海浮现许多珍贵的画面。。。。。。

记得小时候，我们三兄弟姐妹喜欢一块儿玩耍。要么一大班跟着邻居小朋友到处去玩，在物质匮乏的年代，没有芭比娃娃，机器人。。。。。我们玩着简简单单而充满创意的游戏。我们那时候用石头，牛奶罐，在草堆中捉蚱蜢，蜻蜓，昆虫，蝴蝶，蝌蚪等等来当玩具。

那个旧时代的游戏，不知现在的小孩还有玩吗？

1． 家家洒(Ma-Ma-Sak)
a. 用树枝。草叶来模仿妈妈煮菜。甚至也会模仿男汝结婚共组家庭。学老师教书，生意买卖的玩意。
2． 纸娃娃
a. 这是我常玩的玩意。每一年，我家附近的神庙为了答谢神明的保佑，都会做潮州戏和歌团表演来欢庆神明的佳日 。然后，我就会去哪儿买这纸娃娃来玩，就好像是现在电脑游戏-THE SIM。 帮她们换上各种造型服装。不知现在还有纸娃娃买吗？好想念喔！
3． 跳格子
a. 在地上画6个格子，将小石头抛在第一个格子，然后以单跳按照格子跳和抛小石头直到跳完圈。那你就可以抛小石头到其中一个格子当自己的房子，每当其他人遇到你的房子都不可碰到你的房子，必须跳越你的那格。不然就弃权了。
4． 跳绳
a. Lalalilitatangpong。。。。。分为两组，比赛跳绳看那一对队最强可玩到最高难度。
5． 单脚跳
a. 但脚跳抓人，被抓的人可以以正常跑动。一旦被抓到就弃权或当抓人者。
6． AEIOU/一二三木头人
a. 一人当“鬼”，背着大家。当“鬼”念着AEIOU时，其他人就悄悄的走来“鬼”的身边，打他一下就成功了。当“鬼”念完AEIOU了，其他人必须停下来，不许动摇。如果有人动了就会换他当”鬼”.
7． 捉谜藏
a. 一个人当“鬼“遮住眼睛数一五一十 二五二十，其他人就找地方躲起来，然后“鬼” 就出来捉人咯。
8． 扔石头
a. 找七颗石子，把它们放在手掌里，然后扔到地上。选一石子扔上空中，赶往地上捉几颗石子（前往不可碰到其他的石子喔），过后再接空中那一颗。在重复直到拿玩全部石子。
游戏结束后，需要枰斤 ，将七颗石子放在手里然后往上抛，接着用手背接住，再往上抛，用掌心握住看看是多少石子。数目越多越好。
9． 猜猜猜。。。碰碰碰。。。
a. 猜猜猜。。。碰碰碰。。。一角两角三角半。。。 输的就要给Tunder Cats ,Ninja Turtles,Ultraman,Power Ranjer的卡片。以前小时候，Tunder Cats,Ultraman,Power ranger 和Ninja Turtles都是陪着我们长大的卡通人物。 看来现在小孩也是喔。
10． 爬树
a. 由于以前我家有种芒果树，有空的时候朋友来我家玩时，我们就会爬上树坐在树干上为乐。
11． Gasing
a. 我比较少玩着玩意，通常是看哥哥和朋友玩的。我本身蛮怕玩驼咯了，因为怕被刺到。

First at all, I thought that I would like to try for the KFC new product – Triple XL Burger; but looking at KFC advertisement I dare not to take the challenge to finish the large size burger than I had never eat before. Lastly, I choose to buy Zinger burger instead and my colleague buys Triple XL Burger.

At the moment we make the order, the cashier introduces the latest product to me because the Zinger burger costs RM8.30 whereas Triple XL Burger only cost RM8.90 and the size is bigger than Zinger burger, it is much worth and save money. Without any concern, I bought Zinger Burger.

Oh goodness! Do you know……when we open our burger, I felt so lucky and snigger at the back. Because……

What a bad news! On January 22,year 2008, Heath Ledger was found dead in his fourth-floor apartment at 421 Broome Street in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City. Ledger was found naked and unresponsive, facedown on the floor at the foot of his bed by a housekeeper trying to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse. Unfortunately, he was died. Policeman suspected he might be drug overdose, but this have not confirmed yet.

Ledger was born in Perth, Western Australia. He started his acting life during sixteen years old,his well performance in the acting firm made him a legend in his career. Ledger involved in a lots of firms and movies, among the greatest and i felt that unforgettable are 10 Things I Hate About You, The Patriot, Brokeback Mountain. He was a greatest tragedy, cos he have achieved so much things in a short time.

哇塞，真的一级棒！太爱吃了，我最喜欢吃鱼刺或鳕鱼了。可惜，在吉隆坡稀有这种级品；可能这里比较难找这些鱼儿吧。如果你去班台(Pantai Remis)的话必定有口福喔！

那天，在SS2叫了一碗咖哩面来尝一尝。颜色还蛮不错，可惜汤料有点稀，一点都不香辣，我吃了感觉是在吃虾面似的，甜味十足。这乃是个老少咸宜的咖哩面因为我们可以任添加咖哩油，如果你不想吃油腻的咖哩或不想增肥，不妨试一试吧！

Goods and Services (GST) in Dynamics AX

What is GST?
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a tax charged on the supply of goods and services made in Singapore and on the importation of goods into Singapore. Here is a quick overview of GST and how to handle the GST by using Dynamics AX (formerly named Axapta).

Types of taxes
There are two types of taxes one is input tax, another is output tax.
Input tax is the provision from buying goods or services from GST-registered business or import goods into Singapore whereas output tax is that tax collected from customer.
After we have known the basic terms of GST and we could start to setting up the sales tax in Dynamics AX. There are a few things we need to configure such as sales tax calculation, settlement periods, sales tax authorities, item sales tax groups, ledger posting groups.

1. Sales Tax Calculation
The current tax rate in Singapore is 7%. Remember to define the rate in Sales tax code and associate to sales tax group and item sales tax groups. Of course you may need to maintain the rate according to the latest rate manually.

2. Settlement Periods
The GST legislation allows for two alternative tax periods, one is for three month another one for one month. If a non-profit has an annual turnover of $20 million or more they must elect to have a one-month tax period. Those below $20 million can elect either monthly or quarterly.

3. Sales Tax Authority
All the tax payment need to report to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS)

4. Ledger Posting Groups
You may set up the posting profile for GST transaction such as ledger account for Account Payable and Settlement Account.


a. Account Payable
- Outgoing sales tax that we collect on behalf of tax authority when we sell the goods to customers.
- For example, we sold item to customer with the subtotal $95, tax amount is $5. The ledger posting transaction as below:

b. Settlement Account
- At the end of the sales tax settlement period for the sales tax authority, you can run the Sales tax payment periodic job. During this job, the amount that the company owes the sales tax authority for the period is transferred from this account to the sales tax authority's vendor account.

Felt exhausted today........after came back from a ERP presale activity a moment ago.

The game is just started. I know it is a good chance for picking up the presale skills especially in learning how to persuade people to get interest in our system. But it is not as simple as abc. There are too many areas that i need to explore. Life is just like a traffic light, sometimes it shows red, we have to stop and take a break; sometimes it shows green, then we have to continue. Fat Choi Burger is back. Every year, McDee will launch Prosperity Burger (in Cantonese is Fat Choi burger) to harmony with Chinese New Year purpose. I’d 2 prosperity burgers in today…yeah yummy yummy! one is chicken, another one is beef. Cos this is my first time to eat it,thats why i eagerly to taste both types. The prosperity burger is full of black pepper sauce which makes the spicy meal. I like the fries very much, it taste good.

The properity burger costs RM9.88++ for regular basis. It's worth because i'm Lovin' it!

生命的价值

最近，印尼前总统苏哈多Suharto病倒在医院已有一段日子了。今年八十六岁了，身体多个器官都不能正常操作。前首相李光耀 Former Singapore premier Lee Kuan Yew，Sultan Brunei Hassanal Bolkiah,敦。马哈迪医生Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad在妻子的陪伴下去探望了苏哈多。很庆幸的是苏哈多既然苏醒了起来，还和敦。马哈迪医生闲聊几句，心酸的场面让两人顿起哭了。



生命到底值多少钱？



生命的价值，并非能用钱来衡量。他的价值就等于零，生命一开始是零，到你成长，读书，工作，投身社会，家庭，你以为自己真的拥有许多；当要离开世界时，生命回归于零了， 因为人死了带不走一切。留下的是你的未完成任务，或贡献，或记忆。

BEYOND因不合而解散？

Beyond 是我小时候最崇拜的香港乐队，他们那打不死摇滚精神和追求理想的冲劲深深打动了不少年轻人的心。而成为香港著名摇滚乐队，Beyond获公认为华语乐坛上最成功和最有影响力的乐队之一。可惜，自从黄家驹离世后，这支组合的命运不太乐观，前途逆境，所以就宣告解散。一个知名的组合之所以解散，大多都是因为成员不合。黄家强和黄贯中频频传出不和的消息，相识23载的他们既然反目成仇，真不敢令人相信。

还以为可以再看Beyond同台演出，看来这个期待是遥遥无期了。阿Paul对黄家强的不理不睬，阿Paul提出“单飞“发展，Paul的间接出言侮辱黄家强说道不能出席他的婚礼和要去北京帮狗找老婆！说真的这的确很过份。但是我们也不能单方面来判断这个真相。

以前的Beyond是几个年轻小伙子对未来充满憧憬，几个人一条心。时间的变迁，人事物已非；他们有的现已成家立室，一些也有了partner。现在所承受的压力很明显的比以往来得更强烈，前途茫茫，还有谁要跟你说什么理想或海誓山盟呢？在一个低势力的时代下，大家就只好向“钱“看了。单飞也未必是一件坏事啊。再加上现在的他们也不只是自己一人做主而已，还有她们呢！成功的男人背后有女人嘛。

再见BEYOND，希望单飞后的他们还是可以延续BEYOND摇滚精神。

小瀑布

最近，很多建筑商频频到Kinrara兴建房屋。也许地点很旺吧，加上Giant 也在哪儿建了最大的Pasaraya.更显得旺上加旺。
然而，建筑工程需要多多留意排水系统或许导致水患。因为那儿蛮靠近Lebuhraya Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS Highway)大道，下大雨时会造成交通水泄不通，严重水灾。
水流得很急速，像是个小瀑布。谁说瀑布只能在郊外才看到呢?

It is a comedy and family movie that produced by Walt Disney. After watching “The game plan” movie, I have a strong feeling that The Rock is coming back again.

This movie didn’t play much in the animation or higher technology skills, in other word, ”The game plan” was telling us the meaning of life. Dwayne Johnson (“The Rock”) and Madison Pettis are the main casts in this movie, the little cute girl - Peyton Kelly is a daughter of Joe Kingman, one of Kingman of the professional football team. All the while Joe Kingman was a playboy who always persuade for his personal achievement on football world. He gains nothing except than football. One day, a little cute girl - Peyton Kelly is coming to find him. What a surprise! She is Joe Kingman’s daughter from his previous marriage. The story describes on how Peyton Kelly go in and change the playful Joe Kingman’s lifestyle.

Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) was naked his body for quite many times in “The game plan” movie this is due to director Andy Fickman know that many of us are eagerly to see his build body and the shaking breast. Besides that, most of us will think of his remarkable smile. He is too sexy and friendly. Only realize that why so many crazy about him………..

The Rock plays well as his role in this movie; maybe the character is quite close to him. He can sing, can dance, and sports. The unfulfilled part is The Rock didn’t establish the love relationship with Roselyn Sanchez, the director should arrange a story for this couple, they are well match. Apart from Madison Pettis, even though she is just a little child; but she has strong ability to acting well and nature.

AOS fails to start for Dynamics Ax 4.0 intallation

I have encountered an error from AOS service last few days as reintall the Dynamics Ax 4.0, the error message as below:

Could not start the Dynamics Server$01-Company1 service on Local Computer.
Error 100: Cannot create another system semaphore.

i intalled at the below environment:
• Windows XP Professional (SP2+)
• SQL Server 2005

At the meantime, i got some enquiries for expertise and tried my best to troubleshoot this error. Finally, i fixed it successfully. During the time of fixing this thing, i have got one solution from Microsoft website was telling me "Please try again later" for this "semaphore error".

What does it means for this "Please try again later"? There is no specific guideline on how to fix the error. It is very funny and inevitable guideline would turn a green line to solve the problem.

From my troubleshooting and research; this "semaphore error" is a general error indicating that the AOS cannot connect to the database for some reason. The following rules must be followed:

1. Check your database connectivity
2. Ensure the user has appropriate permissions to access the database files when running
the AOS service (normally NetworkService).This means that the following roles
should be assigned to the specific database
• db_ddladmin
• db_datareader
• and db_datawriter.
3. Ensure the user has enough rights to access the file server/folder

After you have setting up the permissions , now you may follow suggestion from Microsoft "Please try again later".

在中国，你就会看到一些年老的伯伯坐在家门前，开了一个小小的档口就开始他的补鞋工作了。不知，你们是否有发现到，大多数的补鞋工匠都是男的，就是没看过女的帮人补鞋子啊。难道只传男不传女？？呵呵。。

桃色光碟风波累人累世

自古以来，不知有多少人因桃色丑闻而被拉下台，用手指都数不清。多少个英雄好汉因为“色”而耽误了前程？事实上；政治人物的桃色事件也不是新鲜事了。在外国有太多这些桃色诽闻，比如美国的历史，共有3任总统遭到春色困扰。他们是第七任美国总统安德鲁•杰克逊(Andrew Johnson) ，第37任的理查森•尼克松(Richard M. Nixon) 和比尔克林顿(Bill Clinton)，还有就是二战过后的白水门事件的尼克松和女秘书莱温斯基有染的性丑闻事件在办公室被偷拍的前总统比尔克林顿。虽然克林顿有道歉认错，但是最后他还是因为那拉链门丑闻被拉下台了。

至于台湾呢，那就是大家都很熟悉的台湾政坛女名人璩美凤，当时某杂志爆出了她与有妇之夫曾仲铭通奸的新闻，并随书附送他们两人长达47分钟的性爱偷拍光碟，令璩美凤一夜成名。之后，她出版了情史自传《璩美凤忏情录》，可怜的她遭受到人们的冷言冷语和有色眼光的对待。但是她还是依然勇敢的面对这残酷的事实，她的坚强让人佩服。现在的她住在美国过着幸福的生活，可喜可贺！

而这次Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek, 蔡细历也遭受偷拍光碟，令他丢掉官职。这件桃色事件足足让他饱受压力，且不用48小时就把他给拉下。经过首相同意后现在则是黄家定担任卫长。也许身为一位领袖必须培养好的修养榜样，上有榜样，下面自然就跟着学所谓上梁不正下梁歪嘛。

蔡细历一直都不想追究这件事是不是遭人陷害，可知他现在是多么想要平静下来啊。

哎，一直以来我们都知道政治是个不好搞的，充满了黑暗和竞争；有些甚至以情色打击政敌靠绯闻宣传自己，这种现象在外国无所不在。

眼看厚厚的日历一阅又一阅被撕下，已所剩无几！2007年又将近尾声了，每当这个时候；我必定会问问自己到底这一年来做了什么。心情很复杂，有点无奈，期待。。。。

无奈的是就在2007年最后一天上班既然发生电脑故障，荧幕上出现NTLDR is Missing Press any key to restart or press Ctrl+Alt+Del. 我restart了，还是没动静。
怎么搞的!偏偏等到2007年最后一天给我这个大炸弹。我脑筋转阿转，只知道是NTLDR不见了。我也忘了何时弄掉了这个重大的挡件。哎，可能是天意吧！要我向前看，把以前的资料给清除一干二净！
这个问题的发生原因是：电脑的Input/Output system (BIOS )是不更新；或Windows boot files 不见了。比如：

Ntdetect.com
Boot.ini

解决方法：

Method 2: Use the Recovery Console
试了许久，我的电脑还是没有恢复正常。没有办法啦，只好重新组装新的Window光碟，不想再烦了，干脆就format了它。新的一年当然要迎新去旧嘛！

新的一年有许多期待，很多梦想都还没实现。回头望一望过去几年，都不知自己在做些什么。茫茫然然就过了几个年头了，岁月不饶人！当然数一数也有稍微有成就啦，并非胡里糊涂过的。

Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek resigns

Health Minister Chua Soi Lek resigned! He has announced that he wants to quit from all government and party posts yesterday(2/1/2008) after he openly admitted that he was the one in the sex video which having sex with a 30-something personal woman in a hotel room. He is known to be a bold person throughout his political career only to end it with a bold act of admitting to the scandal up front. The whole process took less than 24 hours.

Dr. Chua made the confession; he hoped Malaysians would be able to accept his apology. But unfortunately, based on the feedback that received, Malaysians were unable to do that. This might be related to religion belief.

After that, he warned Politician be careful whenever go to a hotel, do not repeat his mistake anymore. He was quite funny and stresses that his biggest mistake was he always go to the same hotel and same room, that’s why he has been caught! He do not want to make speculations. And implore MCA members not to speculate on who did this to me. It is not a healthy political culture.


Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and MCA president Datuk Seri Ong Ka Ting have accepted his resignation and mentioned that he has made a correct decision. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi said that MCA wouldn’t be affected by this sex scandal issues, he believed that MCA can manage to solve the issue and they will handle the election for the replacement of health minister this position soon.

Dr. Chua said that he finally decided to quit is due to most of the Malaysian unable to accept his fault and him. Sadly, he was committed his duty as a Health Minister and all the party posts he had. He mentioned that people want me to quit, I have no choice.

Basically, he was a good politician so far and activates involved government posts for almost 20 years. All his efforts have been forfeits due to this sex scandal issue. In Malaysia, most of the people unable to accept this unhealthy behave. As a leader, not only need to have a good performance in working space but never forget to build a healthy image to represent MCA and country. Some people said: “Dr. Chua was a “healthy” minister. Although he already 60 years old, but he still active in sexuality activity.”

Nowadays, a lot of people are looking for the sex scandal DVD but please be warned that it was an offence to possess and distribute copies of the DVDs and that those found guilty would be charged under Section 292 of the Penal Code which carries a three-year jail term or fine or both. 蔡细历要辞职了！你们怎么说。。。

马来西亚政治人物，The senior MCA leader 蔡细历被搬上色情荧幕。他一旦成为公众焦点，招人痛骂。昨晚，他召开会议宣告辞职做回普通人，他还提醒大家小心出入酒店，以免遭殃受害。他说自己最大的错误是每次都去同样的酒店和房间，所以被人陷害。据说，那间酒店是在Batu Pahat 的，那努郎是他的朋友30十岁左右.

但是我们是否有深思想一想这件事的背后阴藏的阴谋呢？难道有人刻意陷害政治危机？？想蔡细历下台？这是疑点之一，这幕后黑手现在还逍遥法外；说不定还赚了DVD不少钱咯!

除此之外，我们也不可以就这样抹煞了蔡部长以往的功劳。他20年来的努力付出，我们是有目共睹的。至于这次“偷吃“被揭发，Dr. Chua 的勇于认错，我还真佩服他这一点，犯错了就勇于面对，不拖泥带水的行为反而值得赞赏。“偷吃“是不对，但这似乎是属于私人问题，他说因为人民不接受它，所以决定辞职，以免沦为国阵政府和国家负担，这也未免太夸张了吧。他期盼国民能原谅他，但是， 我国又是个重道德和宗教观念的国家。许多人都无法接受的！

如果我们就因为此事而罢休了蔡部长所有的管职党职，那马来西亚的政治管理也显得太不稳定了吧！不费48小时就把一位深知各部门了如神掌的卫生部长，马华副中会长给拉下。且不是可笑？如果这一次“偷吃”的是我国首相呢？难道也就叫他下台吗？我们要的是一位有才能，工作认真和不贪污领袖来领导我国的政治鼎上高峰。他这次的婚外情被揭发，形象受损，但是最重要的是他的道德观念是否正确吗？他对不起的是他的太太和家人，并不是辜负了我国人民啊！而道德观念错误的是拍摄光碟的黑手。

如今，有许多人都对那流传的色情光碟很感兴趣。大家得要小心点，因为警方已下令惩罚那些光看或光碟特有者可被控告在刑事法典第292（a）罪行。说真的，流传这些“政要性爱光碟“主谋严重涉及个人人权，他们是否“有心”陷害政治危机，要待警方进一步调查。
