The Best Way for Tax deduction in eFiling

This article is mainly described how to claims a personal tax deduction. There are many ways to deduct your taxes to be pay some of them are as follows:

1. Make charitable contributions
You may donate money or gifts to an approved charitable organization and
the maximum reduction can be up to 7% of your aggregate income.

2. Enroll a postgraduate studies
A relief of RM5000 per year for any course that study at any institute
professional body in Malaysia that approved by Ministry of Finance

3. Purchase of book, Magazine
You can entitle tax deduction for the amount given to purchase book,
magazine or journals except news paper or banned reading materials. Maximum
deduction is up to RM1000.

4. Sport equipments
You will get a deduction of RM300 per year if purchasing any sports or
exercise equipment.

5. Life insurance
The maximum tax relief is RM6000 per year which share with EPF contribution.

6. Buy a medical or education policy
You can claim deductions for up to RM3000 a year for education or medical
insurance yourself, spouse or child.

7. Medical check-up
Go for a full medical examination you can claim up to RM500 for yourself,
spouse or child.

8. Pay your parents’ medical bills
You can claim up to RM5000 for your parents’ medical bills.

9. Buy a computer
This can be deducting up to RM3000 every three years for purchase of
computers, printers and other software as well.

10. Buy a property
You can claim from 50% stamp duty exemption for the purchase house amount
not more than RM250000.
