Leslie Memories

Surprisingly, Leslie Cheung Kok Wing has passed away for 5 years already. I believe that everyone still can recalled what happened at that day (1/4/2003), April fool day is his committed suicide date. He was just 46 years old that year and he left a suicide note saying that he had been suffering from depression. Unexpectedly happened in his life.

Yesterday 31/3/2008, the Live Moments – Lieslie Cheung held at culture center open-air complex. Lots of “Gor gor” fans all over world came to attend this activity. There was running drizzle rain that night; it seems like the heaven also sad and to set off the sentimental scene. All the fans were heart-stirring and together sang Lieslie’s famous songs to pray for “Gor gor”. The gathering was a huge success and impression event that recalled all the memories of Leslie Cheung.

The below statement was written by Cheung before he commit suicide.
Cheung's suicide note (translation): "Depression! Many thanks to all my friends. Many thanks to Professor Felice Lieh-Mak (Cheung's last psychiatrist, 麥列菲菲). This year has been so tough. I can't stand it anymore. Many thanks to Mr. Tong. Many thanks to my family. Many thanks to Fei-Fei (Lydia Shum Din-ha). In my life I did nothing bad. Why does it have to be like this?"

I strongly believe that “Gor gor” will be always staying in our mind, forever and ever……

想不到时间的飞跃，五年就过去了。我们敬爱的张国荣已逝世5周年了。今日四月一号正是他逝世的日子，相信大家都无法相信他既然选了愚人节来自尽。也许他真的病得好痛苦，收到无数的压力，才会选上尚这条不归路。记得多年前，我听到消息指出张国荣自杀死了，我真的不敢相信阿。。。。
今年31/3「Live Moments。張國榮拉闊時光」露天播放會在文化中心露天廣場舉行。吸引來自世界各地的“哥迷”參加，人潮拥挤，天卻突然下起連綿细雨，衬托出伤感的情景。很多歌迷冒雨追憶哥哥并齐唱他生前的名曲和一起为哥哥祷告。场面很感人，温馨。 Cheung's suicide note (Chinese): "Depression! 多謝各位朋友，多謝麥列菲菲教授，這一年很辛苦，不能再忍受， 多謝唐先生，多謝家人，多謝肥姐. 我一生沒做壞事 為何這樣?" 我想哥哥会永远活在歌迷的心中的，直到永远为止。。。。
