Bangkok nightlife - street stall

After coming back from Bangkok and Pattaya 5D4N trip (from 23rd April 2008 to 27th April 2008), we spent 2 days in Pattaya, 2 days in Bangkok. I would think that this is the perfect arrangement. Previously I was dislike Thailand and dare not to go there due to prostitution and AIDS issue.

But now, I have totally changed my mind after back from trip.

From my personal view, Bangkok is a nice and exotic country that I had ever visited. It is a true paradise place to go, there are lots of tourism places to visit like grand palace, wat po, cruise down chao phraya river and wat arun and so on. If you are shopaholic, then I believe that you will have a fantastic shopping over there. Shop at Patpong, Pratunam, Chatuchak weekend market……

Let’s me share with you on my 5D4N Bangkok and pattaya trip. That was my experience gained from amazing trip and hope that I could come and visit again.

How to make call in Bangkok
First day when we have arrived Bangkok airport, we are looking for tour guide because our trip is attached to a local tour arrangement. Unfortunately, we couldn’t manage to meet the tour guide at gate 7. While waiting for awhile, we tried to call the tour guide by using public phone. Due to first time using public phone in Thailand, we failed dialed up the number 0066-8140-XXXXX. We got assistant from airport helper and he told us just ignore the 0066 and dial 0814-XXXXX. We are lucky that can connected to the tour guide at the end.

First impression in Bangkok
The first impression to Bangkok was “Terrible traffic”. We almost jam about 1 hour to reach Hotel. Again, the road is narrow and the whole place is crowded and bustling. The special thing that you can find in Bangkok is you can see the 4-face Buddha, elephant statue or king photo putting besides the street everywhere, the feeling of sincere to their god and king. A well being of human practice.

We stayed at Baiyoke Suite hotel which is the centrally located at heart of Bangkok and near to shopping area like pratunam wholesale center, MBK, a lots of food stall and market downstairs of the hotel. It is convenient for those shoppers. I had stayed at this hotel at 23rd april 2008 and 26th april 2008, the hotel lighting is dim and dark especially is the room door seems like haunted place. Felt horror and dare not to go in the room. The room is huge by having dining table, seats, fridge and tv, but I would think that it waste the spaces because we didn’t use it much. No doubt the room is fully furniture but it is dim inside and the air-con make a lot of noise too. That’s why the first night I was uneasy staying at there due to the noisy air-con and toilet flush. You will hear the noise clearly at midnight. Without thinking too much, i changed the room with my friend. Sorry friend, i'm too sensitive to the noise. The next day staying at Pattaya, i bought a beer and drunk for a better sleep. The alcohol contain of 7.5%, the beer have a good taste (less bitter than casbegrl).

Anyway, the good thing is the hotel provide a good environment for breakfast. We had breakfast at 43rd floor to enjoy the Bangkok view and delicious food. Not bad.

Activities at Bangkok
I would say that shopping, massage and food are the best activities in Bangkok. Our tour guide brought us to Marine park and Safari world, however I felt that the show are quite bored and maybe I have seen the show in other places like Singapore and Malacca before. So that I’m not feeling enjoy on seeing these show in Bangkok.

4 face buddha

The best thing I did in Bangkok is Tuk tuk drive. We took the tuk tuk go around Bangkok city and pray the 4-face Buddha. This 4 face Buddha is famous god in the world, she will make your dream comes true. Bear in mind that when pray to 4 face Buddha you must circle around the god by clock direction. Each face has different meaning: first face indicates peaceful, second is career, third is romance, and fourth is wealth.

Day time, you can visit to famous temple like Wat po, Wat arun, cruise down to chao phraya river, grand parade and so on. The building of temple are unique and excellent. Besides this, you may visit elephant zoo and tiger zoo too.

In thailand, elephant is one of the employee who worked for government also because they are all recruite by goverment to perform the elephant show. Elephant in Thailand never stay at jungle, they are well served and treated as god.

If you worries get bored at Bangkok, you might spend your nightlife activities at night market such as Patpong, China town, Suan Lum or go to Kao san road to enjoy the bar activities.
You will felt the night is still young at Bangkok nightlife!

Activities at Pattaya
Pattaya is a true fantastic place for those hard men. A lot of foreign tourists are here to enjoy the beauty of Thailand beach and involve in water activities like skydive, banana boat, diving or comb your hair into a string.

During the night time, you won’t felt boring because there are many entertainments in pattaya. Those entertainments putting sex into Thai tourism like Thai girl show, 3 in 1 real man show. Except Ah guo show, it is good and value worth show in Pattaya because the musical and ah guo performance are well done. But our tour guide said: when you are in Pattaya, just open one eye and close one eye. Be prepared to accept the culture there and open your mind to explore the things. Treat it as knowledge, no harm no gain. there's plenty of fun in Pattaya, just let your mind free.

Conclusion
Good experience! I have gained a lot of explosures during this Bangkok & pattaya trip. For instance, culture and lifestyle in Bangkok, how to bargain while shopping, and eating food at street stall in China town or either night market it would be fun too.

This was a good discovery and it entered new chapter of life. Remember open your mind, open your heart when you are in bangkok.

看中国奥运

大批的中国支持者阻拦一位疑是西藏捣乱者以免马来西亚的圣火被骚扰。

奥运的圣火终于在22/04/2008在马来西亚如火如荼的完成了。这天，有成千上万的奥运支持者勇敢冒雨观看奥运的圣火在马来西亚的众多跑手从Dataran Merdeka一直跑到KLCC。虽然中途不幸遭到西藏支持者的阻拦，跷性的都被保安人员特以控制。他们都纷纷穿上了印有“Free Tibet” 字眼的衣服一以示防抗中国奥运的进行。

大批的中国留学生在昨午也很踊跃出席这个活动，他们一直喊口号“One World, One Dream, One China”甚感动的。中国人的爱国精神真令人佩服，那一股强大的力量不可敌视呀。在这次的奥运，我本身觉得中国很用心的做了很多宣传的努力。奥运的建设思构，开幕仪式，奥运歌曲，吉祥物品，衣服等等都下了很多心血。连成龙大哥也都积极参与奥运活动，这是一个大家的拭目以待的盛大运动之一。

中国的奥运宣传做得很成功，吉祥娃娃充斥市场，就连奥运歌曲连著名歌手都纷纷来献唱希望奥运可以举办得很成功。是华族的骄傲！

我本身去年在中国也买了五个吉祥娃娃回来，这么精致的作品有谁不喜欢呢？就是为了买吉祥娃娃而导致全巴士的游客被雨淋呢。这个给我留下深刻印象。

虽然宣传成功，但是也惹来各方的嫉妒和反对。那些反对的声音是西藏的支持者来自各地而带着的口号是“Free Tibet”，让人深感犹豫。

无论反对的声音有多强大也都抵抗不了中国奥运团结一致的力量。One World, One Dream, One China

Olympic flame captivates Malaysia at 22 April 2008. Thousands braved the heavy rain to watch the Olympic torch make its way through the city Dataran Merdeka and ended at KLCC.
There was few incidents cause the Olympic torch relay, however the surrounded security personnel were successfully handled it.

Two minor incidents occurred during the Malaysian leg of the Olympic run here, resulting in several foreighners including a monk being detained.

A group of youth chinaman to shout out their slogan "One World, One Dream, One China" indicated their supports and love to China Olympic. What a touching 2008 Olympic!

The patriotic spirit is big and powerful forces, it is really amazing!

From my point of view, China has put a lot of effort and attention on this 2008 Olympic. For instance, Olympic advertisement, Olympic song, the design of Stadium Olympic, Propitious dolls and so on. I still remember i was in China last year, i bought a Propitious dolls at there. The design is too sophisticated and i'm loving it. However, because of buying this propitious dolls i was affecting all the travellers with me to get wet in the rain. What a pity!

During the preparation towards Olympic, the other sides have made noise and against China Olympic. The voice of opposition are from Tibet supporters who come from different countries and shouted "Free Tibet".

No matter how big is the opposition also hard to fight back strong unite spirits from China. As the song "One World, One Dream, One China".

8TV Project Super Star

I'm quite surprise on yesterday 8TV superstar results especially is girl competition between Nicole and Kay. After knowing Kay won in the contest, i thought that Hau will be beaten off by Eddie also. Because according to female competition, people prioritized the apperance rather than actual strength. Lucikly, my cousin and i have vote on Hau, added some points to him as well.

For my personal view, i would think that Kay and Hau are quite capable to sing and performed well in their contest. But Nicole seems like lack of support from audience maybe less of confident or she is too cool not same as Kay always present a smilling face. Believe that it could be one of the reason getting more closer with audience too.

Hau is one of the contestant who has a good vocal and can sing very well, i believe that he can be 2008 super star. But it is still depends on the luck becasuse Kay is pretty and got many supporter too.

I like Hau contest performance yesterday especially he sang Yang Zhong Wei "让" this song and the new song "Love". Hau really sang well and control better than Eddie. However i think that Hau should improve on the feeling portion like how to express his feeling and close contact with audience than singing skills.

Zack Imran VS Nazrudin Rahman

Naz and Cheryl at the TV series "Ghost" They are playing well in the movie.

I started to know Nazrudin Rahman is in his Breakfast Show on NTV7 and TV series "Ghost" on 8TV. He is a TV host and also an actor as he has garnered a tremendous amount of experience as a host and emcee despite being recent to the field.

I like this TV series "Ghost", do not scared by the title because the story is more like a ‘whodunit’ than horror.

This movie is stared by Nazrudin Rahman and Cheryl Samad. I like the role that playing by Nazrudin Rahman in "Ghost" series, he was acting "Zack Imran" a popular movie star who extraordinary dead and he believe that he was murdered by someone.

Journalist Eza this character was performed by Cheryl Samad, she was the only person who can see Zack Imran. This story is merely concern on Journalist Eza bumps into Zack Imran and how is Eza helps Zack Imran to investigaste and find out the exact reason for his death. Eza is role would be more challeging character as he is one of the important actor in this series also.

This production is full of mysterious and special idea. Director Ng Ping Ho had done a good job and he was successfully to attach the youth audience for 8TV. For my personal view, i can felt that they have put a lot of effort to make it well, this is the best series that i had ever watch in 8TV. They have delivered such a good quality product as we wanted, it can't be denied that this product is achieve certain standard in term of acting skill, producer technique, sound effort as well as story. I'd like it.

Hope that 8TV will keep on working for more better product. Malaysia boleh!

What a shock! A three-metre-long crocodile weighing 200kg was captured on the stairs of one of the apartment in Malacca, Malaysia. Most often, we might irritated by slow performance of computer while doing some stuff or process. There are many ways to improve computer performance just that we lazy to do it. These are some simple ways to helping your computer running faster for Window XP users. Remember you need to set up once only, the easy ways are describe as follows:

1. Clear pagefile when system is shut down
To reduce the usage of RAM in computer, Windows has designed in such a way to use system pagefile to swap pages of memory to disk when they are not used which we called virtual memory pagefile.

Although the advantages lead to a more secure system as the pagefile is wiped out every time, but it will slow down the overall computer performance. In fact, Windows allow users to clear all pagefile when shutting down computer. Even though this practice could slow down the shutting down process, but it really can make our computer running faster. The other reason we need to clear the pagefile is to avoid sensitive information being access by unauthorized users.

Detailed steps as follows:

• Go to “Control Panel” via “Start” option and click on “Administrative Tools”. Then click on “Local Security Policy”.


• In the “Local Security Policy” setting page, choose on “Local Policies”.


• There are two panel in the setting up, go to right panel and search and choose the “Shut down:Clear Virtual Memory PageFile” option.

• Double click / right click > properties then enable the option and apply it.

2. Disable Indexing Service
Windows XP will use build index for all the files and content inside computer. This indexing Service is a base service for extracts content from files and constructs an indexed catalog to facilitate efficient and rapid searching. Unfortunately, this indexing service would slow down the computer performance. If you want to disable this feature, just follow the below steps to accomplish the mission.

Detailed steps as follows:

• Go to “Start” and choose “Run” option.


• Type in “services.msc” in the open field at Run form. Another way is go to Control panel > Administrative Tools >Services.


• At the right panel of the services setting page, search and click on “Indexing service” option.




• The Indexing Services Properties (Local Computer) will be popped up as below screenshot, you may go to “General” tab and select “Manual” from the “Startup type” field. The system will take effect after you click on “Apply” button.

3. Disable Error Reporting
This Windows Error Reporting supposedly is the set of feedback technologies built-in to Microsoft Windows to capture software crash and hang data from end-users who agree to report it. System will pop up the windows to ask whether users want to report the problems to Microsoft or not. Sometimes, we may feel annoying on this practice of doing the same option always. Why not to turn off the option if you really do not need this offer? The method is described as follows:

• Right click on “My computer” icon, go to “System properties”.


• Go to “Advanced” tab at the “System properties” form.


• Select the “Error Reporting” button which placed at the bottom of the form.
  




• Tick on the “Disable error reporting” and activate the “But notify me when critical errors occur”. Afterwards, click on “Ok” button to complete this task.

Believe it or not, Middle-aged men who ate seven or more eggs a week had a higher risk of earlier death, said by nutrition experts. People said : An apple a day, keep doctor away. An egg a day, meet doctor always.

There was found a men with diabetes who ate any eggs at all raised their risk of death during a 20-year period studied, according to the study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

"Whereas egg consumption of up to six eggs a week was not associated with the risk of all-cause mortality, consumption of (seven or more) eggs a week was associated with a 23 percent greater risk of death," U.S. researchers reported.

But it is find for a men without diabetes, they could eat up to up to six eggs a week without raised any healthy risks to them.

However, the study adds to an ever-growing body of evidence, much of it contradictory, about how safe eggs are to eat. It did not examine what about the eggs might affect the risk of death. Anyway, the egg consumption is very much depends on individual healthy condition such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol patients who coundn't take much of egg because egg are rich with cholesterol which it will impact our healthy if you have consume in a large amount.

So we have to considerate when want to eat egg, it is most likely do not consume over seven eggs a week. Men who ate more eggs were older, fatter but of course there are still a lot of others factors to affect our health risk.

很多博客都很羡慕她的部落格可以这么出色又有名气。说真的要出名就得大胆，特出（部落格内容，美眉一名）还有是人气咯。这也要搞人际关系的，尤其是她曾是星洲日报的学生记者，媒介的朋友也蛮多的，成功的指数也大有帮助。

情牵南苑

3/4/08晚上NTV7上映《情牵南苑》本地电视剧。这出戏蛮有看头的，由马来西亚电视台ntv7和马来西亚制作公司Double Vision联合制作的马来西亚剧集。长达四十集的剧集讲述六十年代歌女发生在南苑中，奋斗的故事和爱情故事。

背景，衣服，发型，歌曲等等都依照那个年代去拍摄，添加了不少逼真感。就仿佛带我们到那个年代游览一趟的感觉呢！难怪我爸爸妈妈都很爱看，也许他们都很怀念那个回不去的时光。我这人也喜欢看旧时代的戏，可能我想知道时代和文化的改变吧。。。

马来西亚的演绎圈最近有了起色频出现新作品和发展迅速。眼看那些过时HVD演员都纷纷出现在荧幕了，难免为他们鼓舞一番。看一下他们的演技是否退步了，还是增进了呢？是肥还是瘦，加了几条鱼尾纹了？哈。。很八的

Yesterday 31/3/2008, the Live Moments – Lieslie Cheung held at culture center open-air complex. Lots of “Gor gor” fans all over world came to attend this activity. There was running drizzle rain that night; it seems like the heaven also sad and to set off the sentimental scene. All the fans were heart-stirring and together sang Lieslie’s famous songs to pray for “Gor gor”. The gathering was a huge success and impression event that recalled all the memories of Leslie Cheung.

The below statement was written by Cheung before he commit suicide.
Cheung's suicide note (translation): "Depression! Many thanks to all my friends. Many thanks to Professor Felice Lieh-Mak (Cheung's last psychiatrist, 麥列菲菲). This year has been so tough. Recently Ms sufiah yusof (Shilpa Lee) has become more popular of her prostitution life after disclosed by a reporter.

“She was confused, really. She didn't know quite what she wanted. She wasn't ready to settle down. Basically, she wanted to be a student.” Mr. Marshall added.



“She wasn't a difficult person to live with. We simply had different goals, different ideas of where we wanted to be. There were, to my knowledge, no affairs or anything. I never considered such a thing, simply because of the religious basis of our marriage.”



They married at an early aged; this could be the reason for their failure marriage.
A woman who failed in her marriage may cause her do a lot of amazing things which considered silly and stupid things.
