The World Food Problem Just Like Tsunami

The above photo illustrates a child lick the spoon to aftertaste the delicious food which taken at lunch time.

22/4 was International Earth Day, even though this year was declare World Day for Water, but the world food problem has became serious day by day.

The latest news of Myanmar cyclone leaves more than 22,000 dead and 41,000 missing. This disaster more serious than Tsunami that happened at 30 Dec 2004. The number of victims are too terrible huge. Just wandering about Myanmar condition and can't imaging that why disaster comes to us again without any prediction. I thought that government should learnt from Tsunami lesson and pay more attention to well prepare for overcome the disaster anytime.

It is too sad to hear on this news. According to the news, the food problem will become more serious than before since Mynmar is one of the country to produce and export the most rice. After this disaster, it will affect the production due to lack of human resources.

In Mynmar, prices of food, fuel and construction materials have skyrocketed, and most shops have sold out of candles and batteries. An egg costs three times what it did on Friday.

Is this indicate second Tsunami has coming? sigh! Food problem is significant issue for the world, we should seriously see this problem and find a way to handle it.
